About Us
Our History

June 1, 1994 marks the start of the devotion to Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Holy Name of Jesus Church.  It was first introduced by a number of Filipino families belonging to the parish.  We witness how the devotion has branched out and how faith, when it is strong, unites diverse people from different cultures and walks of life.  Following the Wednesday afternoon Mass, parishioners and guests stay for the novena, which is led by a lay volunteer.  Some drop their petitions in the confidential Petition Box that is customarily prayed-over every first Wednesday of the month by the congregation present. Others drop their thanksgiving notes. In addition to this, there is a Saturday morning devotion to meditate on the Rosary and sing songs of praises to Our Lady.
